Rep. Jordan Redman has poured another $205,000 of his own money into his political action committee, bringing his total contribution to $555,000 this year.
The Coeur d’Alene Republican formed the 36-18-1 Inc. PAC in April and has since reported $355,525 in independent expenditures to support candidates running for the Legislature. Over the past week he reported another $145,965 to oppose Proposition 1, which would rescind Idaho’s near-total abortion ban.
Redman on Wednesday reported his latest $205,000 contribution, adding to a $250,000 drop in April and another $100,000 in May.
According to Redman’s campaign website, he is an entrepreneur who in 2005 purchased his parents’ insurance agency, Redman & Company Insurance in Coeur d’Alene. He has also been involved in real estate development since 2018 and purchased several local pharmacies in 2021.
As EdNews reported in June, a search of Idaho business records found Redman is the manager, president or governor of at least 20 companies, LLCs and corporations.
Most revolve around an organization called 208 Companies. According to its website, the mission is “Glorifying God by creating partnerships, community and opportunities that reflect His love and purpose.”
For the general election cycle, Redman’s PAC reported $29,741 this month to support seven Republican incumbents and candidates running for the Statehouse, all in three key swing districts:
- D29 Rep. Dustin Manwaring: $8,567
- D26 Senate candidate Bryan Hyde: $3,697
- D26 Rep. Mike Pohanka: $3,697
- D26 House candidate Lyle Johnstone: $3,697
- D15 Senate candidate Desi Burbank: $3,361

As of Thursday, the PAC has a cash balance of $51,250.
