Your guide to being an informed Idahoan

Lawmakers debated more than 40 bills related to education during the 2014 session. We tracked all of them on our Bill Tracker. It’s a tool for you to see how all 105 lawmakers voted. The tracker also has links to the bill language and our coverage of the bill.

The bills cover a variety of topics: teacher salaries and awards; strategic planning; agriculture programs; parents’ rights; even the color of buses. Plenty of bills relate specifically to rural communities — including funding, the hiring of spouses and building projects.
