Idaho school administrators will gather at the Boise Centre Monday through Wednesday next week for the annual Idaho Association of School Administrators Summer Leadership Conference.
The three-day event will bring together superintendents and school leaders for professional development, discussions on issues facing Idaho schools and more.
The event starts Monday with remarks from Gov. Brad Little, Lt. Gov. Scott Bedke and IASA Vice President Jon Rehder, followed by a keynote from Matthew Emerzian, founder and CEO of Every Monday Matters.
Sessions will cover topics including the 2026 legislative session, school safety, leadership and the race for state superintendent.
One featured session, “Decision 2026: A Conversation with Idaho’s Candidates for Superintendent of Public Instruction,” will give attendees a chance to hear from candidates seeking the state’s top education office.
Idaho Department of Education officials and Idaho State Board of Education representatives will also lead sessions.
The conference will also feature networking opportunities, including a Monday evening social hosted by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and a Tuesday breakfast for members of the Idaho School Superintendents Association.
The event closes Wednesday following a keynote from Mervin Jenkins, author of “To the Beat of Leadership: A Story of High and Low Notes.”
Attendees can also participate in optional golf outings Sunday evening at Topgolf in Meridian and Wednesday morning at Quail Hollow Golf Course.
