Day 85: Podcasting

State superintendent Debbie Critchfield kicked off Thursday virtually, with the Leadership in Idaho Agriculture Program alumni group. She presented her plans for career technical education in rural Idaho to the group.

Following the meeting, she recorded an episode of “Insights,” the Idaho Department of Finance’s podcast. For the episode, the superintendent talked about House Bill 92, her plan to require financial literacy classes in high schools.

Critchfield held midday meetings with the State Board of Education’s executive team, and State Department of Education staff, before heading to meet with Meridian Mayor Robert Simison.

She’ll finish off Thursday with a one-on-one meeting with SDE Chief of Staff Greg Wilson.
