Friday’s podcast: A conversation with the IEA

This week, Idaho Education Association executive director Paul Stark and president Layne McInelly join Kevin Richert to talk about crisis and opportunity.

They’ll talk about the restart of the 2021-22 school year, amid the latest wave of the coronavirus pandemic, and the political blowback over allegations of indoctrination in schools. But they’ll also talk about the state’s $1.4 billion budget surplus, and what the money could mean for education.
