Day 17: Lunch with her husband

Thursday brought more meetings and budget presentation prep for state superintendent Debbie Critchfield.

She paired the typical humdrum with a luncheon for the spouses of elected officials, which she attended with her husband, Dave.

Debbie and her husband Dave attended a luncheon Thursday.

The two split their time between their southern Idaho hometown of Oakley and Boise. They recently bought a second home in the state capital to ease the commute and help the superintendent fulfill her official duties.

Critchfield was also a guest panelist at the Idaho Cable Broadband Association’s annual meeting Thursday, and held a meeting with the executive team of the Office of the State Board of Education.

And the superintendent welcomed the Idaho Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to the State Department of Education for their board meeting this afternoon.
