The leader of the Democratic National Committee will visit Idaho this weekend for a series of campaign events in the Treasure Valley.

Ken Martin, chair of the DNC, is scheduled to knock on doors and meet volunteers in District 22 on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. He’ll then attend a happy hour fundraiser for gubernatorial candidate Terri Pickens from 4 to 6 p.m. in Boise and finish the day with a speech at the Canyon County Democrats gala at 7 p.m.
“I am excited to be visiting Idaho where strong Democratic candidates like Terri Pickens are offering voters an agenda that lowers costs, protects healthcare, makes life more affordable, and puts working families over the interests of billionaires and special interests,” Martin said in a statement to EdNews on Tuesday.
Pickens, in a social media post, said voters can enjoy a drink while hearing from her and Martin about the 2026 midterms nationally and in Idaho.
District 22 Democrats on Tuesday announced on social media that Martin would knock on doors with Senate candidate Karlie Easley and House candidates Amanda Easley and Loren Petty.
“Door knocking is the #1 way to reach voters,” District 22 Democrats wrote.
