Superintendent Ybarra’s schedule: Aug. 19-23

Budget discussions take up much of state superintendent Sherri Ybarra’s schedule for this week.

With her 2020-21 budget request due to Gov. Brad Little’s office by Sept. 1, Ybarra will hold budget discussions every day this week, according to the schedule posted on Ybarra’s website.

A technical note: Ybarra has moved her schedule to the website, as of this week. Previously, Ybarra’s staff emailed the schedule to reporters. “We will update this page with new event and meeting information as it becomes available,” the State Department of Education said in a news release Monday.

Monday, Aug. 19

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Budget discussions with staff.

Tuesday, Aug. 20

9 a.m. to noon: State Land Board meeting, Lincoln Auditorium, Statehouse.

1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Budget discussions with staff.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Budget discussions with staff.

Thursday, Aug. 22

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Budget discussions with staff.

Friday, Aug. 23

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Budget discussions with staff.
