Here’s who is running for U.S. Congress, and how much money they have raised

Twenty-six Idahoans have filed to run for U.S. Congress.

Republican congressmen Sen. Jim Risch, Rep. Russ Fulcher and Rep. Mike Simpson will run in the May 19 primary election along with state legislators and constitutional officers. The general election in Nov. 3.

Of the three races, the challenger with the most money is former state Rep. Todd Achilles, D-Boise, who is running as an independent against Risch. Achilles has raised $217,248 to Risch’s $3.5 million. Fundraising totals are from the Federal Election Commission.
