Carey students send cards to the White House

You can join Idaho students by adding one more address to your Christmas card list.

Students from the Carey School in the Blaine County School District made cards for the White House in honor of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a prisoner of war from Hailey. Almost 250 cards will be mailed from Carey students in grades K-12. The goal of the project is to send one million cards to the White House in honor of Bergdahl, who has been held by the Taliban since June 2009. Bergdahl’s community is attempting to flood the White House with Christmas cards.

If you would like to send a card to the White House for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, here is the address:

Sgt.  Bowe Bergdahl

C/O  The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500
