Brigham Young University-Idaho has attracted its largest incoming fall class in school history.

On-campus enrollment sits at 24,450, a 6.7% increase, BYU-Idaho said in a recent news release.

An estimated 22,000 BYU-Idaho students live in Rexburg, the home to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-owned university.

In other BYU-Idaho enrollment snapshots:

  • On-campus enrollment is nearly evenly split by gender, with 12,259 female students and 12,191 male students.
  • Nearly one-fifth of on-campus students, 4,918, are married.
  • An additional 22,083 students take online classes in partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide. That brings on-campus and online enrollment to 46,533, a 4.9% increase from the previous fall.
