Superintendent Ybarra’s schedule: Nov. 26-30

Here’s state superintendent Sherri Ybarra’s schedule for this week.

When the Legislature’s school funding formula committee began its meeting late Monday morning, Ybarra was not in the room. She participated by phone, with chief deputy Pete McPherson in attendance. Ybarra attended the committee’s Monday afternoon meeting in person.

Another quick note: She is scheduled to meet Tuesday morning with Carl Crabtree, a Grangeville Republican. Crabtree is not a state representative, as he’s identified in Ybarra’s schedule; he’s a state senator who sits on the Education Committee.

And an update: On Monday afternoon, Ybarra’s office issued a media advisory including this schedule. It’s the first time Ybarra has done so — and it comes two weeks after we began publishing her weekly schedule in this space.
