It’s by now no secret that Gov. Brad Little — a presumptive candidate for re-election — is hitching his star to President Donald Trump.

This week, Politico highlighted the way Little is tailoring his education message to align with the White House.

Reporter Bianca Quilantan used Little as a focal point for a larger story on how Republican governors are campaigning on Trump’s education agenda.

During his Jan. 12 State of the State address, Little said his controversial Idaho Launch postsecondary aid program aligns with Trump’s workforce development focus, and touted Idaho’s first-in-the nation ban on transgender athletes in girls’ and women’s sports.
