Idaho State University is reporting another spring enrollment increase, with numbers reaching their highest level in nearly a decade.

Spring enrollment totaled 11,058, a 2.9% increase. This marks Idaho State’s highest spring enrollment since 2016.

“Idaho State University is moving boldly ahead into the future,” President Robert Wagner said in a news release. ”ISU is committed to offering the right programs, in an economical way to support Idaho’s local and statewide communities and economy.”

Spring enrollment has increased at Idaho State for three consecutive springs.

  • Total undergraduate enrollment increased by 371 students, or 4.3%.
  • First-time undergraduate enrollment is up by 2.3%, with 217 new students taking their first classes.
  • Idaho State has 1,796 dual-credit students, also a 2.3% increase.
  • With a total enrollment of 1,917, the graduate school student count dropped by 0.8%.
