Forum focuses on Idaho pre-K prospects

Will Idaho join the 44 other states that fund pre-kindergarten programs?

An Aug. 26 City Club of Boise forum will focus on the prospects for pre-K in 2016.

City Club of BoiseSpeakers will be Rep. Christy Perry, a Nampa Republican and chairwoman of the House Ways and Means Committee, who co-sponsored a pre-K pilot bill in 2015; and Beth Oppenheimer, executive director of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children.

The luncheon forum will be held at 11:45 a.m. at the Grove Hotel in Boise. Registration is due Aug. 24; to sign up, follow this link.
