Day 36: A day for superintendents

State Superintendent Debbie Critchfield kicked off Tuesday with three back-to-back meetings — one with the State Department of Education executive team, one with the SDE’s Content and Curriculum team, and one to prepare for the Feb. 21 Land Board meeting.

After speaking at the Idaho Association of School Administrators legislative conference, she met with the regional IASA presidents, IASA Executive Director Andy Grover and other visiting superintendents at the SDE.

Tuesday afternoon, she reviewed her itinerary for an upcoming outreach trip to North Idaho, and held a legislative meeting with Rep. Jeff Cornilles, R-Nampa.

Tuesday evening, she’ll attend the Idaho Sugar Industry’s legislative reception and the Idaho Farm Bureau’s legislative dinner.
