Eyes on the prize

HB93’s full story, including the lawsuit against it, brings these loose strands together.

This is an anxious generation

We see how it’s increasingly difficult for more kids to be able to engage in learning.

Where do freedom and safety fit together?

Justice has youth, promise, strength, beauty, unpredictability, and menace.

Strong civics education in schools is essential

With educators providing support, everything we need to teach them to fish for themselves is there.

I stand firmly against moral relativism

The indoctrination that I think AG Labrador is accusing public education of is akin to teaching 2+2=5.

Drive, dignity, optimism

When students learn about the people and events in history that have led up to today’s world, they gain an understanding of how the people and events of today lead to the future.

My prediction and my hope

Some critics of public education use the term “government schools”– calling to mind cold, inhuman, institutions of indoctrination.

Consequences for failed promises

No way, no how is HB 93 going to function as promised within its $50 million.

So red it won’t even matter anymore

In the immediate future, we who care about public education in Idaho must be free to fearlessly and openly exchange ideas within the political landscape.

Thank you students

The fact that huge numbers of individuals and families around the world are forced from their homes is tragic.
