ISBA trustees select their executive board

Jennifer Parkins

Four school trustees from across the state were elected as officers for the Idaho School Boards Association (ISBA) executive board during the ISBA annual conference in Boise in November. ISBA officers serve one-year terms alongside a 22-member executive board, which includes two representatives from each of the nine regions across the state.

Jennifer Parkins, trustee of the Genesee School District, will serve as president. She has served on the Genesee School Board for 10 years. Parkins is a recreation therapist, and has a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from University of Idaho.

Hedrick is the president of Resources Northwest, Inc. and received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Idaho and University of Nevada Reno, and a master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.

Jody Hendrickx, board chair of the St. Maries School District, will serve as the association’s vice president. Hendrickx has served on the St. Maries School Board for five years. He is the owner and operator of Hendricx Logging in St. Maries.
