Rob Winslow, the executive director of the Idaho Association of School Administrators, will retire by June 30.
Winslow was the executive director from 2005 through 2007 and was rehired in 2010. He has led the IASA for the past 10 years.
Winslow plans to continue his work with Boise State University in the educational leadership program as well as spend time with family at their home in McCall. He said he’s looking forward to spending more time on the golf course.
“I have appreciated the opportunity to work with so many talented school and district leaders,” Winslow said in a news release. “It has been an honor to represent our members at the Legislature, (the State Board of Education), (the State Department of Education), governor’s office, and any other state venue.”
The IASA board plans to fill the job immediately. The board will accept applications until March 12 and plans to make a decision by March 25.
