The skinny, from KIVI and KNIN’s Lacey Darrow: COSSA Academy student Jordan Beattie showed up at school with a confederate flag hanging in his truck. School officials asked him to take down the flag, saying it could be construed as a gang symbol. Beattie removed the flag, but the family wants to meet with school officials to discuss the matter further.
