House members are pro-Kristin Armstrong

By voice vote, the Idaho House loves a winner.

Lawmakers OK’d a resolution honoring two-time Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist Kristin Armstrong of Boise.

Rep. Grant Burgoyne, D-Boise, said Armstrong’s tenacity embodies Idaho. In May, Armstrong broke her collarbone in a fall during the Exergy Tour bike race in Idaho — but captured gold at the London Olympics less than three months later. “After seeing this, how can any of us doubt our potential to do great things?”

Not House members, evidently. They approved the resolution without a peep of dissent.
