Garden Valley trustee, Boise County commissioner faces stalking charges

A Boise County commissioner and Garden Valley school trustee faces two criminal charges of stalking.

Alan Darrel Ward, 61, was booked Thursday afternoon by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office on the misdemeanor second-degree charges.

No further details were immediately available.

Ward chairs the Garden Valley school board. His term runs through 2021.

Ward currently chairs the Boise County commission. He was first elected in 2014 and ran unopposed in 2016. His commission term runs through 2020.
