Boise district reports 32 coronavirus cases

The Boise School District has identified 32 confirmed or probable coronavirus cases since June.

The count, which includes students and staff, appears on a data sheet posted on the district’s website.

The data sheet does not break down student and staff numbers, but it does break down cases by school or facility. The site also differentiates between older cases and newer cases, which are more likely active.

A look at a few numbers:

  • 25: Positive and probable cases, June 22 through Aug. 16.
  • 7: Positive cases since Aug. 17.
  • 9: Positive and probable cases at the District Services Center, food services center and facilities and operations center. This is the highest concentration at any district site.
  • 3: Positive cases at both Borah and Timberline high schools. Borah and Timberline have the highest case numbers of any schools in the district.
