Episode 223: A Wild Special Legislative Session Plays Out During the Pandemic

Welcome to episode 223 of the Extra Credit podcast.

This week the Idaho Legislature convened for a rare special session to address issues related to the coronavirus pandemic.

It went off the rails before the session was even gaveled in as large crowds became unruly and ignored masking and social distance rules.

We’ll break the session, discuss the liability immunity bill that was intended to give schools and colleges protection as they reopen and explain why lingering issues may dominate the upcoming 2021 session.

Be sure to check back next week for another new episode of Extra Credit.
