We’re 11 days out from another round of school elections — School Board elections, and another round of levies and bond issues.

Here’s a quick reading roundup:

• Nampa School District. Considering the district’s existing $5.1 deficit, and this week’s news that put the district another $1.2 million in the hole, this promises to be an interesting election.  No levy on the ballot (voters approved levies in Nampa in August 2012 and March), but three School Board races, with incumbents Bob Otten and Dale Wheeler seeking re-election. • Treasure Valley levies. From KTVB’s Justin Corr, here’s a roundup on the levies and bond issues around Southwest Idaho. There are levies on the ballot in Emmett, Fruitland, Homedale, Parma, Salmon River and Wilder, and a bond issue in Vallivue.
• The Vallivue bond issue. Here’s our closer look at this $50 million bond issue, which would build a second high school in one of Idaho’s fastest growing school districts.
• And a bonus read from Teton County. This one won’t affect the May 21 elections. But two months after Teton County was among 36 districts to pass a levy, trustee David Heinemann is talking about supplementing this $3.1 million levy with another ballot issue in April.
