Four-day schools series wins statewide award

An in-depth series on Idaho’s four-day schools has received a statewide award for investigative reporting.

Four-Day - Preston School District1Idaho Public Television’s “Idaho Reports” received the Idaho State Broadcasters Association award Saturday. Idaho Education News and “Idaho Reports” collaborated on the project, examining the growth of four-day schools and their impact on students, families, staff and taxpayers.

The reporting project culminated in November, with a week-long series.
