The Ybarra catchphrase winner? Wait for it …

Here’s a post from Sherri Ybarra’s campaign Facebook page, dated Sunday:

“Thank you to everyone who participated in the Ybarra For Idaho catchphrase contest! The winners have been chosen … and will be announced soon!”

As you may recall, the Republican state superintendent’s candidate announced the catchphrase contest on Oct. 9. “We are looking for something imaginative, smart or just simply great, to ‘stick in the minds’ of voters. The phrase should be short enough to fit on magnets, stickers, or bumper stickers.”

Of course, campaigns are heading into the home stretch of magnet and sticker season. Voters go to the polls in eight days.
