Latino Listening Project

Investigating inequity in Idaho schools | The Latino Listening Project is a collaboration between the Idaho Statesman and Idaho Education News, focused on the educational outcomes of Latino students in Idaho. This effort is supported by the American Press Institute and the Education Writers Association.

Idaho Education News and the Idaho Statesman have been reporting on Latino student outcomes and experiences for more than a year. On Dec. 2 we invited you to hear from the students themselves. Latino students from across the state sent in questions to ask Gov. Brad Little and several students joined reporters Sami Edge and Nicole Foy for a virtual discussion, where they spoke with the Governor directly. Watch that conversation in full, above.
